Do you ever feel like your wasting your time??
Not living life to the fullest?
Which just happens to be every one's life goal.
Through this past year in school I've felt this way.
Nothing is changing in my life like i want it to.
I wake up in the morning.
Get a ride to school.
Go to my classes.
Talk to my friends about nothing of particular importance.
Take the bus home.
Do my homework which usually doesn't require much brain power.
Go on the computer.
Go to sleep.
Cycle Complete.
This stupid cycle doesn't seem to break either.
It's like a chain of events that always must follow each other in a synchronized fashion.
The only break i get from this cycle is the weekend.
Which is why i think i am looking forward to summer so much.
Not only will this cycle be destroyed over the summer but each day will be different from the continuous dragging on of school.
Don't get me wrong,
I love school.
I always have.
But now that I'm getting awfully close to the end of school i find it boring and repetitive.
The only things that i look forward to are talking to my friends.
Which i think is the only reason why half the kids at my school are still in school.
My school is known to the public as a school for gangsters.
That all of the gang activity that goes on around the area must be from this school that i attend.
But in reality my school is nothing like what the public thinks it is.
We aren't just a bunch of gangbangers.
I doubt that there are even more then 100 kids at my school that are in gangs.
Out of the 2,000 that attend thats pretty good.
My school is very DIVERSE.
I'm not just talking about asians and african americans.
There is also a huge population of hispanic, middle eastern, and russian backgrounds as well.
Alot of people say that Diversity is a great thing.
But alot of these people have never really experienced diversity.
It can be a great thing, but sometimes things happen.
People get hurt and words are said.
Even though there is major diversity in my school not all the cultures seem to mix.
All the hispanics hang out with the hispanics.
All the asians hang out with the asian.
All the african americans hang out with the african americans
ECT.
There is even a part of the school called "China Town" because that's were all the asians hang out and play their techno that they breakdance to.
Now where do i fit in?
Well I'm not gonna lie.
Most of my friends are white.
But i also hang out with alot of asians.
One of my best friends is half cambodian, half italian.
She is hilarious and usually makes my day at school worth going.
But the group of people that i hang out with are pretty diverse.
Now by living life to the fullest maybe i need to get a little bit more diversity in my life.
Even though I'm pretty sure that i have experienced more diversity then about 50% of the people in the world.
ANYWAY...
I went to see Indiana Jones today.
It was pretty good.
